Art Therapy
Art therapy offers each client the space to use a variety of media to make images and 3-D work which may be either representational, symbolic or purely expressive. The art-making supports the client to express, understand, integrate and develop a new relationship with, or perspective of, their life experiences and inner world.
Art therapy supports personal growth and transformation, it can help us come to terms with past experiences, but also helps us to learn to BE with whatever is present for us in each moment.
The therapist supports each individual to express themselves in whatever way they choose, offering a safe and confidential space for personal material to arise, be witnessed and held in unconditional positive regard.
"Art therapy is an allied mental health profession.
